So, this is a partial translated version of my gameset. I believe that I have translated every essential part of the game to make it playable. Because a complete translation takes much longer, I decided to do it in two steps and to gather the first opinions on it.

I placed my base in Algeria, though it seems to have moved when the game began.
Clicking Build Aircraft seems to have caused some weird German problem I can't read. I imagine I can't actually do that in this gameset.
Several of the base facilities don't seem translated, and the bear itself (in the UFOPedia) isn't translated.. I guess that's not too important either..
You can produce a belt, and recycle it for free alphatron, though that may not be changable.
During my second mission, I tried to walk out the door, and I couldn't see the door. Despite numerous clicks, I couldn't tell my hunter to walk out the door. So, I started walking to the door, and I spotted an alien where I was trying to walk. This is no doubt a bug of the game itself, since you can determine where the aliens are by simply clicking everywhere, even if you can't see them.
I finally got to the time the <avoiding spoiler>, so I'll stop here and try to fix up the english I've seen. It seems like a nice story so far. ^^

Never mind - I'd rather experience the story first. Are you done with the translation or are you continuing?

The focus of the first part of the translation had the focus on the story, which, so I think, is essantial for the any game.
The weird message by building an aircraft is an error, caused by the problem that you can't build any aircrafts in the beginning.
I'll probably done with the next few features and the complete translation in two to three weeks time.

Ok, in that case, here's what I've currently redone. I'll stop now and wait for the rest. It's a bit fast, but this is as far as I've gotten:

Just as a note in that last post, I capitalized every instance of the word Alphatron, since I suspect that's a proper name.
When I started fixing the spelling, I tried to keep the words the same as much as possible. Later, I just started changing the words to a more natural way of saying things. So, initially I kept things like "When this metal is weathered under strong magnetic fields, it expands to its 400th volume.", which doesn't make any sense to me actually, but later I was changing whole sentences. I'm not sure which you prefer however.

Also, I was unable to translate the word Schlagring. I was in the middle of translating the cellar, but for some reason the translation shows the sentence "Therefore it lies under it not directly under our house, but some meters, therefore I had to September-guess/advise also entrance to one to build." That last sentence I'm having problems translating exactly since I can't figure out what September means (I'm guessing it means second), but I think I have the general idea.

I'd like to try translating this gameset myself, so you can focus on other things. If I can have your help on some things though, that would really help me.

It means
"so i had do build a separate access/entrance."

Criusmac, I welcome your great interest, I really do, but I've been already through the half of the translation and I found out that it's much easier to do the english and the german version of new game-items because I may find (and have found) logical errors.
But I have some ideas, how you can help. First, I still need more ideas for moral problems and decision for the protagonist. If you (or others) have more ideas than killing innocents, betrayal and how to handle betrayal, fire away.
Secondly, if you still want to translate, Jens Everings (sorry if misspelled) has, in my opinion, a great gameset with an epic story and a very clever use of materials. Perhaps he is intrestet in a translation.

Ok. I'm finding I can't translate about 1 in 20 sentences, which is worse than I figured.

A lot of the already translated text has spelling mistakes and grammar that feels unnatural though. If you want, I can proofread the English as you finish it.

I am not a storyteller though, and ideas do not come to me easily. You would want someone else for new ideas.

I opened a new ticket here 2327 since the changes are rather expansive. I'm going to correct a few more descriptions in your gameset and also create a few translations. You should check out the bug tracker for incoming tickets in the next few days.

I started trying it out, and found a very small problem:

I am freeing prisoners, and haven't lost a single soldier somehow, and on the last prison, when I win, I get an error that I don't have enough living quarters, and need to build more, and then the battle doesn't end properly. If I end my turn, the game hangs during the alien turn, since (I suspect) there are no aliens left alive.
